Hello everyone,
Remember the
days when neighbours swapped cups of sugar, and baked a cake when
a new family moved in? When it took forever to walk a block or
two, because you bumped into someone you knew when you walked down
the main street? Fresh Choice and Whakatu Rotary are working
together to recapture and strengthen that local community spirit,
with a project to raise funds for a new Nelson based St John
ambulance to attend sports and major events.
Fresh Choice customers will have the opportunity to add a dollar
to their shopping total at the checkout counter, during the months
of September and October. Local food businesses are also embracing
the
Love your Community
idea. They have agreed to make a donation to the ambulance fund,
with every purchase of their product.
Support these local businesses by purchasing the

products at Fresh Choice, or add a dollar to your shopping total.
Your contribution will help St John to get that new ambulance for
our region.
