Our Finances

The annual subscription is $840 including GST and is paid in equal monthly instalments of $70. This is paid by automatic payment.

This fee includes the following benefits:

    Meals (breakfast only)
    Rotary Down-under Magazine
    District Levy/Training/Insurance
    Rotary International Levy
    Club Administration
    Rotary Foundation
$10 of the monthly fee (maximum $120 per year) is able to be claimed back by members who choose to attend the annual District Conference and is to be applied to conference costs. This fund also pays for the conference registration fees for the President and President Elect. Any Funds not claimed back by members then become part of the club's annual donation to the Rotary Foundation.

If a member is granted leave the following policy shall apply:
    One month or less - no rebate
    Two - six months - a rebate of $30 per month can be claimed on return to the regular meetings
    Six months or more - it is suggested the member resign and rejoin in due course (but this is not a requirement)

Because fees are paid by automatic payment the rebate is paid by the club when the member returns to normal club attendance and is calculated at the rate of $7.50 including GST for each week of approved leave.

The Rotary Financial year commences on the 1st July each year.
